My name is Justin Hale. I am a Son of God, a husband, a father, a U.S. Marine veteran, a former law enforcement officer, a business owner, and a man who knows what burnout feels like.
For me, burnout was not just stress. It was constant exhaustion and darkness. I loved being a cop until I hated everything about it. The badge, the uniform, the politics, the backstabbing. I told myself I was leaving it at the door when I got home, but my family knew better. My fuse was short, I shut down, and over time I went numb. Not distracted or distant, but the kind of numb that digs into your bones.
I thought leaving law enforcement would fix it. It did not. The darkness followed me into running a business. It followed me into sales where I broke records and still felt empty. On the outside I looked strong. On the inside I was hollow. Fitness became my drug. I went from obese to benching over 400 pounds. People thought I had it all together, but I did not.
My marriage fell apart. I lived at the gym, slept in a tanning bed, and ate peanut butter for most meals. I blamed God. I blamed my ex. I blamed my bosses. I blamed everyone but myself.
The first shift came in a conversation with my dad. He asked if I had been praying. I said yes. I prayed every day for God to fix my family. He asked if I had prayed for thanks. I got angry. Thanks for what? I was broke, divorced, and losing my kids. My dad reminded me that I still had food in my belly, a roof over my head, and children who loved me. That stuck. Slowly I started to pray differently. Not just for what I wanted, but for clarity and thanks for what I already had.
That was the start of my turn. It was not instant and it was not easy. Over time I realized everything in my life, good or bad, was tied to choices I had made. I stopped blaming others and started owning my part.
That journey taught me more than survival. It showed me how to rebuild with purpose. And now I use those lessons in my coaching.
I am not here to dig into the past or play therapist. Coaching with me is about building the future. My job as your coach is to help you see clearly again, to challenge the excuses that keep you stuck, and to hold you accountable to the life you say you want.
When you coach with me, you do the work. I walk with you, ask the hard questions, and give you the space to reset your mission. I am not an outsider with a textbook. I am someone who has lived it, rebuilt from it, and now coaches others to do the same.
If you are ready to stop surviving and start reclaiming your life, I invite you to book a Mission Reset Session today.
